The Personal And Oblique Beauty Contest
As heavily as we come down on beauty today we all strive hard enough to be part of the beautiful people. It's Okay to want to look your best and to be part of the world that you resent. Why? You resent it mostly because it's not something that you're a part of. You would accept it if you felt you had a ticket in there.
The truth is that most of us actually do. It takes time and effort and make up and night cream to look like that. It takes stringent diets and fat loss solution products and serious face skin care in order to be part of that world. Most of us just don't take the time and effort to get so done up to look like we've done nothing at all.
That's because we all end up where our priorities take us. Some of us just want to be mothers. Others of us just want to be famous or write the great American novel or open up a foster home for dogs. We have different desires, and that's cool. That's what makes us all so unique while bringing the world together at the same time.
It's not about them, really. It's about you. It's about how you want someone to believe how special and beautiful you are as well. It's about wanting to reach out and be more but dealing with insecurities that can bind up a happy rabbit. Do you really think that those people that fit into the 'beautiful' category do not have just as many hang ups as you do about their body, face, and hair?
We don't need a ticket into the beauty pageant of the year. What we do want is to feel attractive. When we are at our best most of us can catch ourselves in one of those moments of feeling attractive. We often feel that way because we actually are.
Stop comparing yourself to every other woman on the beach. You know that game. You look at her and decide your tummy looks better but her skin is better. You look at that woman and decide that you have better legs but she has better hair. Get over it.
It's not such a competition among women. It's a competition with yourself. When you stand next to someone bigger, uglier, with more zits, or that dresses worse than you it's typical to feel a little better about your own flaws. Chances are she's not judging you. You are judging you.

amy winehouse is like 25!lol bu she looks like a 40 yrs old beast
scarlett johansonn is 23?wtf she looks 30 at least!
and also lindsay lohan,paris hilton and so many other female celebs tht are in their 20's but look much older!
because they wear to much makeup
and all they do is party and stay up late
and that affects ur image
A Red Scarlet-X 4K tour around CES 2012 (video) (Engadget)
For the third CES in a row, our old friend Ted Schilowitz has stopped by to
let us drool over Red's latest high-end cameras. And boy, this is one helluva
camera we have this time. You may recall that last year we were shown a
working Scarlet prototype with 3K video resolution and a fixed lens; but fast
forward to 2012 and we have the Scarlet-X, a sturdy 4K beast that not only
supports interchangeable lens, but it's also actually out on the market.
Obviously, the $9,700 base price (excluding the Canon EF lens mount; Nikon and
Leica mounts coming soon) is aimed at film studios instead of us regular Joes,
but Ted was kind enough to spend a whole afternoon showing us all the goodness
on the Scarlet-X -- we even got to play with it on the CES show floor, and
unsurprisingly, this Red kit became quite the celebrity. Read on to find out
